What not to bring

No dogs or other pets, this includes birds, rats and cats

No fire, flammable liquids, BBQs, fuel or fire toys (LED or light toys ok)

No glass, no full length or removable mirrors
-
No nangs
-
No beanbags
-
No plastic water bottles
-
No weapons, illegal and/or prohibited items or substances
-
No bad behaviour that makes someone feel threatened, unsafe or uncomfortable
-
No $2 shop or cheap plastic costumes
-
Waste, try to minimise the rubbish you bring and remove packaging at home or purchase items that do not have packaging. TAKE YOUR WASTE HOME.

No trespassing, trespassers and those assisting trespassers will be evicted and prosecuted
-
No generators, sound systems or renegade stages

What to bring
-
Drinking Water – Reusable 10 - 20 litre water container & reusable drink bottle. NO SMALL PLASTIC BOTTLES. there is also plenty of free drinking water available onsite.

Your Ticket – Download to your phone before you arrive or bring an old school printed version.

Photo ID – Valid Australian photo ID or a passport if you’re travelling.

Cash – Cash out facilities will be limited.

Reusable cup, water bottle, plate, bowl, knife and fork. – Tanglewood Festival is working towards getting rid of one use crockery. You may be charged for the hire of them if you do not have your own. Washing facilities will be available in market space.

Instruments - There will be open Mic and a jam space so come join!

Medication – If you have asthma and/or allergies please your medication and seek immediate assistance from the first aid tent if you are concerned or experiencing difficulty.

First Aid Kit – We have medical on site but for the simple things like bandaids or panadol it is easier to bring your own.

Appropriate Shoes – For your feet… you will need them on our bush based festival site, they are a must.

Warm & Waterproof Clothes – It’s usually 30 degrees during the day, but it can get quite cold at night and appropriate footwear like gumboots if the weather looks wet
-
Sun Protection – slip on some long sleeves, slop on some sunscreen and slap on a hat.
-
Baby Wipes – A weekend warrior’s essential to staying clean and getting hugs all weekend.

Alcohol – Buy cans or poor your glass drinks into plastic bottles before arriving at the festival. Locally we have Good Brew Bar on-site and the Rubicon Hotel in Thornton has a large stock of tasty beverages in cans. All glass will be confiscated and donated to crew after party!

Cold food & Munchies – Nothing that needs to be cooked (no open flames all gas will be confiscated)
